As reported in last week’s Reilly Report, Alderman Reilly is warning residents about potential unsanctioned celebrations downtown for Mexican Independence Day from September 12 through September 16.
Alderman Reilly is working closely with the Chicago Police Department to ensure that residents will be able to access their residences during rolling closures. If CPD is forced to implement closures due to unsanctioned car caravans in the Central Business District, the intersections listedherewill serve as resident checkpoints. Alderman Reilly’s Office is working closely with CPD and local property managers to distribute access passes for residents. At the listed access points, residents can present these passes to the local CPD officers.
